Our Process

Adkisson Search Consultants will visit your organization to determine your search objectives and obtain a profile of your ideal candidate. All key personnel, members of the search committee and leadership team will be interviewed. The overall strengths and weaknesses of your organization are assessed in order to determine the expertise needed.

We develop a position profile that summarizes the findings from the site-visit. We share and confirm the results to ensure we have a complete understanding of the desired leadership qualities, knowledge and experience needed in the executive candidate.

Once the position criteria is established, the search process begins. We network your opportunity and identify highly-qualified candidates who meet your specifications. We utilize our own network as well as our databases, networking associations, society meetings, job boards and internet resources.

After identifying the best candidates, a rigorous qualifying and screening process commences. We obtain verbal references, written evaluations, administer a personality profile, and perform a thorough background investigation. We personally interview selected candidates and establish a short list for final consideration.

Selected candidates are presented to the search committee. We will coordinate the arrangements for each candidate to visit your facility. We assist and establish interview questions and are on site for the interview. A second interview is arranged for the final candidate. We guide you through the entire process.

We maintain close contact with you and the candidate throughout the contract negotiations and up until the time the candidate joins your facility. During subsequent months, we conduct periodic follow-ups to ensure the candidate is adjusting in the new position and community.
