This position will provide dental care services to patients of the Center for Family Medicine’s FQHC’s programs at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
- Provide direct dental services to patients of the SIU CFM dental clinic in Springfield.
- On an emergent or temporary basis, provide dental care to patients at other SIU FQHC dental sites.
- Supervise dental hygienist and dental assistants in the provision of dental care to patients.
- Participate in Center Peer Review and Quality Improvement activities.
- Provide emergency services to patients as needed.
Ideal candidate will be passionate about serving the underrepresented minority and low income populations.
A Doctorate of Dental Surgery or Doctorate of Dental Medicine, Illinois licensed or ability to obtain an Illinois license to practice Dentistry in the state of Illinois.
