Adkisson Search has been retained by a Hospital System in Kentucky to onboard a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Risk Officer (CRO).
The CCO will lead all compliance program activities to identify potential risks. Develops and implements compliance policies and procedures, auditing and monitoring activities, education, investigations, and reporting. Shall be entrusted with confidential matters, maintain personal and professional confidences, exercise extreme discretion, employs sound judgment, behaves with integrity, and is highly adaptable to new situations. This position has significant interaction with all hospital departments.
The CRO is responsible for minimizing operational risk, identifying and implementing processes to avoid financial loss, enforcing standards of conduct, and establishing unimpeachable ethical behavior. Also responsible for directing day-to-day risk, ethics, and compliance functions, conducting confidential investigations and promoting an environment of equity, integrity, and transparency in which all stakeholders willing to disclose violations of law, patient endangerment, conflicts of interest, and corporate policy without fear of being bullied or retaliation. Assesses, audits, manages, mitigates, and prioritizes legal, and regulatory risk. Leads efforts to eliminate threats to patient quality of care, profitability, and productivity of the organization. Directs enterprise risk management, fraud, waste and abuse, and program integrity.
Master’s Degree – MBA, MPH, MHA, MS Jurisprudence, Risk, Finance, or M. Eng. Cybersecurity preferred.
A minimum of 20 years’ experience in Healthcare required.
